A former president enters what was meant to be a controlled televised debate.

There is no host. No audience reaction. No safety net.

Only two candidates. Two podiums. One studio.

And a conversation that slowly stops being about politics.

🧩 GAMEPLAY

NO COMMENT is a short-form narrative experience presented as a first-person visual novel built in UE5.

The player is placed in the position of a political figure under public scrutiny during a live debate that rapidly shifts from discourse into accusation, psychological pressure, and forced introspection.

You do not fight. You do not explore. You respond.

⚖️ CORE MECHANIC

At a critical moment, you must choose:

  • Deny everything
  • Stay silent
  • Confess

Each option reshapes the tone of the collapse, but not its outcome.

🧠 THEMES

  • public image vs internal guilt
  • political performance and truth
  • reputational collapse
  • moral exhaustion
  • inevitability of consequence

This is not about winning a debate. It is about what remains when control is gone.

🎧 PRESENTATION

  • First-person perspective
  • Minimalist UI
  • English dialogue with Spanish subtitles
  • Single-location experience
  • Strong emphasis on silence, timing, and facial focus

⏱️ DURATION

Approximately 2–3 minutes

🎬 STRUCTURE

  • Single act experience
  • One location: television debate studio
  • Three decision branches
  • One final outcome sequence

Thanks for checking out NO COMMENT.
This was a short experimental piece focused on tension, silence, and moral pressure rather than traditional gameplay. It’s a small project, but I wanted to explore how far a single scene and a single decision structure can carry narrative weight.

Any feedback is appreciated.
